Contrast Echo

A contrast echo, also known as a contrast heart ultrasound is a test that creates videos of the heart to evaluate the size and function of the heart’s chambers. An ultrasound probe sends and receives sound waves that create videos of the heart. During this test, a solution is injected that allows the heart borders to be seen more clearly than a typical echo.
